This statement seems to be more and more profound the more I read and think over it, comm'on ya'll, whatcha think? if you don't hurry I'll just tell ya what I think and I"m tired of hearing myself type and think and talk :)

Honestly, I didn't hear the comment or the context. But, overall, I think TO is pretty much an idiot. So, even if he said something profound, I doubt that he actually meant it to be....

I agree...T O is such an idiot I don't think he could have a clue as to when God would use him and when not. In fact, he is so insecure and lives in such a public arena, I would doubt God is able to use him much at all. Brennan Manning says that the greater part of God's work in the world today goes unnoticed by the world at large. I agree.

The only part of the quote that might be significant is the idea that reality is where glory resides. That's probably true and is intriguing.

Pro-Football Player Terrell Owens...wow, very interesting. I like T.O. But I tend to like idiots and underdogs...I do think he does some unwise things however, I saw him make the statement and he seemed sincere re: what he said, alittle arrogant but sincere.

Jen, good point....but even if he didn't mean to God speak anyway???

I too do think thats a very true statement. Or could glory reside in a place that is not true?

glory can appear as an angel of light-the heart is evil and will mislead if it can. One must learn to know Christ inside their own souls- not just Christ in people.
